Lessons and Game Plans

A variety of golf lessons and Game Plans are available at GOLFTEC Upper Kirby, including In-Bay, On-Course, Short Game and Putting lessons. With a Game Plan, you receive sequential lessons that build on each milestone to build a better swing that can be comfortably repeated on the golf course.

Video Practice

Doug Strawbridge

Hometown: Humble, TX

Doug has taught with GOLFTEC since 2002 and has given over 30,000 lessons. Before starting at GOLFTEC, Doug played collegiate golf at Mary Hardin-Baylor. In 2014 and 2018 he was recognized by the Southern Texas PGA with the Player Development Award. From 2016-2019 he was named to the Golf Digest's Top Young Instructors List. In 2020 he was named to the Golf Digest Best In State list (TX). Finally, Doug has achieved his PGA Certification in Teaching and Coaching.

Zoran is an accomplished golfer with a resume full of playing accolades: Member of The University of Houston Golf Team '86-'89, 2002 SAS Champion Nationwide Tour/Korn Ferry Tour, Touring Professional for 21years. After his professional career, he turned to coaching. Zoran has is know for his fun, encouraging, enjoyable experience in the bay and on the course with his students. He is a 10 year veteran of GOLFTEC with over 20,000 lessons given.

A native of the Houston area, and graduate of Texas Tech University, Anthony has been a Golf Professional for over 15 years. His teaching experience first began in Lubbock, Texas in addition to spending time teaching in El Paso, Texas. He is an avid student of the game, and focuses on simple and bio-mechanically efficient ways to swing the golf club.
