Directions to our Training Center:

GOLFTEC Lynnwood is located along the I-5 corridor just south of the Alderwood Mall. Our Training Center is located in the same shopping center as Marshalls, Vern Fonk and Performance Bicycle. Nearby landmarks include the Alderwood Mall, Boeing’s Everett Plant (the largest building in the world!) and Pro Golf Discount.

If you’re traveling north: On I-5 take exit 181A. Take a left off the interstate on 44th Ave W. Turn right on Alderwood Mall Blvd. Go 1 mile to Alderwood Towne Center on the left.

If you’re coming from the south: On I-5 Take exit 183. Continue on 164th St SW. Take a left on Alderwood Mall Parkway. Turn right on Alderwood Mall Blvd. GOLFTEC Lynnwood is located in the Alderwood Town Center on the right.

A variety of golf lessons and Game Plans are available at GOLFTEC Lynnwood, including In-Bay, On-Course, Short Game and Putting lessons. With a Game Plan, you receive sequential lessons that build on each milestone to build a better swing that can be comfortably repeated on the golf course.

Born and raised in Western Kansas. Turned professional in 1997 after competing in college. Has given over 10,000 lessons in his time with GOLFTEC. Was named Coach of the Year in 2023 for the Seattle market.

Tyler Claybrook

Tyler has been coaching at GOLFTEC for 3 years. He played Collegiate golf at Bellevue College, then began coaching golfers with The First Tee of Seattle, while also freelance coaching golfers of all ages and skill levels for 5 + years. Tyler has placed Top 15 in both The PNGA and WA Mid Amateur Championships amongst many other top finishes before turning Professional. He also caddied in the 2018 US Amateur at Pebble Beach. Tyler continues competing in PNW Chapter and Section events with many big goals of his own for 2023. Tyler's main goal for his students is to learn and grow their games while only expecting to have fun and try their best each shot while also being a firm believer that you "get out of it what you put into it". His passion for helping others reach their full potential while continuing to reach his own fuels him and his undying passion and reverence for the game of golf.

Scott started teaching at GOLFTEC in 2023 after 2 years of club fitting experience. With experience in multiple competitive environments, Scott gets the most out of each lesson to get his students closer to their goals. Being relatively new to the game, it helps provide perspective of what it takes to reach the next level in each students game. Currently leading the Seattle market in lessons taught and fittings. He is always open for a conversation about the latest and greatest in equipment and club fitting.
